Welcome to MIDAS

The Municipal Information & Data Analysis System (MIDAS) is a web-based tool that provides, free of charge, access to the Financial Information Returns (FIR) to all Ontario municipalities. The FIR is the main data collection tool used by the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing to collect financial and statistical information on municipalities. MIDAS converts FIR data into meaningful reports. MIDAS is a program of the Association of Municipalities of Ontario. Access to MIDAS' FIRs data is provided free of charge to all Ontario municipalities.

Ontario Municipal Snapshot - Public MIDAS

The public MIDAS - Ontario Municipal Snapshot - is a web-based tool developed by the Association of Municipalities of Ontario (AMO) that provides access to raw municipal Financial Information Return (FIR) schedule data for all Ontario municipalities. As a user you can select  parameters such as Year, Municipalities, Household, Population, and/or select a Financial Information Return Schedule to generate and export reports.
